Tasting - Arnold Palmer Chardonnay

Name:  Arnold Palmer
Variety:  Chardonnay
Region:  Santa Barbara
Country:  California
Year:  2011
Price:  $7.95

Winery Review:  A vibrant Chardonnay from vineyards in cooler climates of California. Chardonnay is well known for its characteristic fresh apple fruit aromas and rounded, rich flavors. Weather during the 2011 harvest provided ideal growing conditions for lush, yet perfectly balanced fruit.

My Review:  In the wine glass this wine was a golden yellow color.  On the nose it smelled like butter and oak.  On the palate this was a very light and creamy wine.  It was slightly acidic but had flavors of wood.  This wine was very creamy and finished very smooth.  Great Chardonnay for the price.

I did not drink this wine with food.
