Tasting - Toschi

Name:  Toschi
Variety:  Cabernet Sauvignon
Region:  California
Country:  USA
Year:  2011
Price:  $8.95

Winery Review:
This wine has rich cherry, plum and stone fruit flavors and aromas. It is full bodied with mellow tannins making it an ideal pairing for a wide range of foods.

My Review:  This wine was opened two days before consumption.  In the wine glass this wine was a dark red.  This wine smelled of wood and pine with a hint of cherry.  On the palate this wine is only semi-dry and acidic.  This Cabernet Sauvignon tasted of prunes and dry wood.  This was a very drinkable and smooth Cabernet.

I did not drink this wine with food.
