Winery Review: The reflection of the sun’s rays off the Rhein river help to ripen these hearty red grapes, thus producing a full bodied wine with flavors of dark red fruits with a well balanced sweetness. Enjoy slightly chilled on its own or with cheeses, salads pasta and fish.
My Review: In the wine glass this wine is a dark red. On the palate it has a more medium, denser feel to it. It smells of dark red berries like blackberry. It has a lower alcohol percentage which did not give this red much of a kick. It tasted of cherries with a mineral finish. I highly enjoyed this red wine. It was sweet, but not too sweet and very drinkable.
I drank this wine after eating food.
