Winery Review: Korbel Brut is the ultimate blended wine. We blend multiple varieties from multiple appellations and even multiple years. The goal is to make a champagne that consistently delivers a lot of quality for the price. Korbel Brut is crisp and refreshing, with a light citrus and fresh pear-like note in the finish.
My Review: This Brut was a golden yellow color in the Champagne glass. The aroma was hard to distinguish past the carbonation. On the palate this carbonated beverage is light and refreshing. It had notes of apricot and pear. I ended up combining this wine with orange juice and made a mimosa. The orange flavors took over at that point, but made the wine a more delicious beverage.
I did not drink this wine with food.
